Radhika Sundar RP, RMFT-SQ

Radhika Sundar is the founder and owner of OM Family Therapy. She is currently a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and a Registered Marriage & Family Therapist – Supervisor Qualifying (RMFT-SQ) with the Canadian Association for Marriage & Family Therapy (CAMFT). Radhika has a Master’s degree in Psychology from India with 12 years of experience as an international student advisor and counselor before undertaking training in Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT). In 2008, as a newcomer in Montreal, Radhika recognized the need for better mental healthcare among South Asian Immigrants in Canada. She completed her training in MFT with McGill University and the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, Quebec. Her initial work focused on helping newcomers and refugees at institutions across Montreal, including the South Asian Community Centre, Batshaw Youth and Family Services, and the Young Men’s Christian Association (Pointe-Claire, QC). In 2016, Radhika became a licensed therapist and founded OM Family Therapy. In 2019, Radhika became a qualifying supervisor in the profession, contributing to training new psychotherapists in the field. Radhika is currently a council member at the College of Registered Psychotherapists in Ontario, representing District 6 of the Peel Region.
